Save different ways to sort, filter, and display the same table.
A view is a saved way to look at a table. For example, keep an All projects view and an Active projects view with completed work filtered out.
Views share the same records. Editing or deleting a record in one view changes the underlying table. Hiding fields or filtering records does not set access permissions.
Sort: Choose a field and direction. Add another sort to break ties, such as priority followed by due date.
Hide fields: Choose which columns appear in this view. Show them again from the same menu.
Filter: Add a condition using a field, a comparison, and a value. Combine conditions to narrow the results.
An Active projects view can show only records that still need work.
For example, filter Status to exclude Done, hide notes you don’t need, and sort by Due date. Switch back to another view whenever you need a different perspective.
Open the view list, then the menu beside a view to rename, duplicate, or delete it. Deleting a view removes that view’s setup, not the table’s records. Each table must keep at least one view.If a record seems to be missing, check the current view’s filters first. A record can disappear from a filtered view when you change its status or another filtered value.
