Visit Claude in your browser
Go to claude.ai
Open Customize -> Connectors
From the navigation, click Customize and then select the Connectors tab — or go directly there.
Create a custom connector
Click the plus button for adding a connector and then “Add custom connector” and enter the following information in the dialog that appears:
- Name: Zite
- Remote MCP or server URL: https://mcp.zite.com/mcp
Start the authentication process
Your custom connector will have been created at this point, but you need to connect it before you can use it. Click the “Connect”
button to get started.
Authorize the connection
Claude will send you over to Zite, ask you to log into your account, and then display an authorization screen.
Click the “Authorize” button to complete your connection. This will send you back to Claude’s customization page with the connector
fully set up.
Optional: change default permissions
Within the customization settings, you’ll see the list of tools available through the MCP server. Here you have options for setting the default permission
level for each of the tools. Claude will have automatically assigned default permissions for each of the tools, but you can adjust the settings here to
require or avoid a prompt from Claude each time it uses the tools.
