Apollo helps sales teams find people and companies. Connect your own Apollo account to build prospecting and contact tools in Zite. App visitors use that connection rather than connecting their own accounts. With this integration, you can:- Search for prospects by job title, company, or location
- Enrich selected people with available contact and company details
- Find companies and look up their business information
- Search contacts your team has already saved
- Save contacts to your Apollo account
How to integrate Apollo into your app

Connect to Apollo
Ask Zite to connect Apollo, or click + in the chat box, select Integrations, then choose Apollo. Paste your key from Apollo’s API settings into API Key and connect. Use a key with access to the features your app needs.

Describe your use case
Tell Zite whether you want to find new prospects or work with saved contacts. For example, “Find sales directors at UK companies, show matches first, then enrich only the leads I select.” Ask it to check for existing contacts before saving duplicates.

Test and publish
Try a small search and enrich one selected lead. Check the returned details, saved contact, and credit use in Apollo.Click Publish in the upper right corner when the workflow works as expected.
Common use cases
With Apollo, you can create apps like:- Prospecting Tools: Find potential customers that match your target market.
- Lead Enrichment: Add available company and contact details to selected leads.
- Contact Intake: Save form submissions to Apollo without creating duplicates.
- Company Research: Look up business details before a sales call.
Important notes
- Search versus enrichment: Prospect searches do not include email addresses or phone numbers, and may hide part of a name. Enrich selected matches to request contact details.
- Saved contacts: Your team’s saved contacts are separate from Apollo’s prospect database. Tell Zite which list to search.
- Apollo plan: Prospect searches and enrichment require a paid Apollo plan. A key can connect successfully while the plan still blocks those features.
- Credits: Enrichment and company searches use Apollo credits. Check your Apollo allowance and start with a small batch; reconnecting does not remove plan limits.
- Missing details: A successful lookup does not guarantee an email address or phone number. Phone details may arrive later, so ask Zite to show a pending state when needed.
- Your own key: Zite does not provide a shared Apollo account. Keep your key private and replace it in the connection if it is revoked.
