How it works
Resend sends emails triggered by app activity, such as confirmations and receipts. Connect it to send from your own domain and track delivery. Your app uses your Resend key, so recipients don’t need their own Resend accounts. By connecting Resend, you can:- Send emails from a verified domain
- Include attachments such as invoices or reports
- Schedule emails for a chosen time
- Send separate messages to multiple recipients
- Set CC, BCC, and reply-to addresses
- Look up whether a sent email was delivered or bounced
How to integrate Resend into your app

Connect to Resend
Ask Zite to connect to Resend, or select + → Integrations → Resend. Create a key in Resend and paste it into API Key, or choose a saved account.Resend requires your own key; there is no Use Zite’s Account option.

Describe your use case
Tell Zite when to send, who should receive the email, and what it should contain. For example, “Email the customer a receipt with a PDF attachment after payment is confirmed.”Ask Zite to check your verified domains and use the intended sender. For reminders, specify the time zone and what should happen if the booking changes.

Test and publish
Test with an address you control and check the sender, content, links, attachments, and delivery result. Test any scheduled reminder at the intended time.Select Publish in the upper-right corner once your sender is ready for customer emails.

With a Resend connection, you can create apps like:- Booking Systems: Send confirmations and appointment reminders
- Order Notifications: Email purchase and shipping updates
- Invoice Delivery: Attach invoices and receipts
- Member Onboarding: Send welcome emails and useful links
- Delivery Monitoring: Show sent, delivered, or bounced messages to your team
Important notes
- Verify your domain: Resend’s shared test sender can email only the account owner. Verify your domain in Resend before emailing customers; a successful self-test does not prove other recipients will work.
- Account limits: All app activity uses your Resend allowance. Ask Zite to queue or batch busy periods and show sending failures rather than retrying continuously.
- Attachments and batches: Send up to 50 recipients per email or 100 emails per batch. Emails with attachments are sent separately.
- Delivery status: An accepted send is not the same as a delivered email. Check delivery or bounce status when a recipient reports a missing message.
- Repeated actions: Ask Zite to prevent duplicate receipts or reminders when the same action runs twice. Check the saved send result before retrying.
