How it works
Calendly lets people choose a meeting time from your availability. Connect it to show bookings and create scheduling links in Zite. Your app uses the Calendly account you connect; visitors follow a scheduling link to complete their booking. With this integration, you can:- List available meeting types
- Show scheduled meetings
- Read invitee details and answers
- Create single-use scheduling links
- Cancel existing bookings
How to integrate Calendly into your app

Connect to Calendly
Ask Zite to connect Calendly, or click + in the chat box, select Integrations, then choose Calendly. Sign in to Calendly and approve access to the account you want to use.

Describe your use case
Tell Zite which meeting type and bookings to show. For example, “Show upcoming client consultations and let clients open a scheduling link to book a new one.”

Test and publish
Follow a scheduling link and check the meeting type, time zone, and confirmation. Check that a sample booking appears correctly in your app.Click Publish in the upper right corner when the workflow works as expected.
Common use cases
With Calendly, you can create apps like:- Client Booking Portals: Help clients open the right scheduling link.
- Appointment Dashboards: Show upcoming consultations.
- Meeting Preparation: Display invitee answers before a call.
- Cancellation Tools: Let authorized users cancel a booking.
Important notes
- Booking flow: This integration’s supported flow creates a scheduling link. The invitee chooses a time and completes the booking in Calendly.
- Availability: Manage meeting types, availability, and connected calendars in Calendly. Connecting to Zite does not configure those settings.
- Updates: Connecting does not automatically push booking changes into your app. Tell Zite when to refresh the booking list.
- Meeting links: Check that video meeting links are displayed once Calendly has finished preparing them.
- Cancellations: Cancelling through your app changes the real Calendly booking. Restrict this action to the intended users.
