Overview
User Groups let admins grant the same access to several people in their Zite organization. Add people to a group once, then assign permissions to the group instead of managing each person separately.A group is a source of access, not another user type. Group members can become workspace editors or internal app members through the permissions assigned to their group. External users are managed separately for each app.
Only admins can create User Groups on the Team and Enterprise plans. Learn more about the Team plan.

Assign permissions to a group
Groups can have Use or Edit permissions on a workspace or on individual apps, forms, and databases within it. OpenAccess to assign them.
- Use lets group members use apps and view forms and their results.
- Edit lets group members edit or remove apps, forms, and databases.

How group permissions affect access
Permissions add together. If someone receives access directly and through one or more groups, the highest permission wins. For example, direct Edit access takes priority over Use access from a group.
Control what a group can create
When creation permissions are enabled for your organization, groups can also control who can create new apps, forms, and workspaces. Open a group and switch to theAdvanced tab to grant creation access. See creation permissions for the full setup.
