Choose a model for the work you need to do. Start with Mini for small changes and Pro for everyday building. Try Max when a difficult task needs more reasoning.

Compare models

Relative model ratings: Mini has the highest speed and lowest cost; Pro balances speed and quality; Max prioritizes complex work; Max Fast offers Max-level quality with faster output at a higher cost. Ratings are not benchmarks or price ratios.

How to switch models

In the chat input, open + → AI Model, then select a model. The picker shows which options are available on your plan and prompts you to upgrade for locked models. Your model choice and agent mode do different jobs: the model affects how Zite reasons; the mode controls how it approaches the task and approvals.

Understand the cost

  • Mini: Credit rates are about 93–97% lower than Pro and Max for the same amount of AI processing.
  • Max: Uses the same processing rates as Pro, but longer thinking can use more credits for a task.
  • Max Fast: Uses credits at about twice Max’s rate, with up to 2.5× faster output. That does not mean every task finishes 2.5× sooner.
There is no fixed price per message. The request, conversation, and amount of work affect the total. A lower-cost model can still use more credits if it needs several attempts.
